Description
Nestled in the tranquil Dordogne Valley between Bordeaux and Libourne, Château Tertre de Courban embodies the dedication of owner-grower Christophe Pinard. Coming from a lineage of Cognac winegrowers, Christophe charted his own course, purchasing 30 acres of vineyard in 1991, which has since expanded to 75 acres across Beychac-et-Caillau and Saint-Sulpice-et-Cameyrac.
Every facet of the estate reflects Christophe’s hands-on approach, from the barns to the cellars, showcasing his commitment to quality. Recognized for its environmental stewardship, the estate holds the prestigious High Environmental Value Certification, level three, by the French Ministry of Agriculture.
Château Tertre de Courban’s wines, like its Bordeaux, exude elegance with vibrant red hues and aromas of red fruit and toast. On the palate, it offers a smooth texture and a lingering finish, a testament to Christophe’s dedication to his craft and the land that sustains it.
