Description
The history of ‘Champagne Barons de Rothschild’, one of the most prestigious wine families ever, dates back to 2005. It already owns worldwide wine properties with an enormous reputation, such as the Premier Grand Cru Classés wines from Château Lafite-Rothschild and Château Mouton. -Rothschild in Pauillac. With Champagne Barons de Rothschild Brut, they now offer a ‘Prestige’ Champagne that can compete with the very best Champagnes. The Chardonnay grapes mainly come from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards from the Côte des Blancs. The champagne has a bright, light yellow color and has pleasantly ripe fruit on the nose with notes of pear, brioche and almond. A soft and supple entry, rich and very pure, is complemented by some ripe notes of the aforementioned brioche and tingling freshness. Champagne Barons de Rothschild Brut has an elegant mousse, pleasantly dry with a long finish. The wine is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. Serve this champagne at 7-9°C as an aperitif, with fish dishes, shellfish, white meat or light cheeses such as brie.
